As evidenced by my 30 by 30 list, I have been wanting to dye my hair again for quite some time. I think the last time I did was in college. I’d been considering it off and on since then, but was never able to make a decision. Also I didn’t want to go to a salon because $ $. I’m all about the box color, y’all. Um Anyway, I read about eSalon. Here’s the ridiculous photo I uploaded to eSalon during the questionnaire:. I also had it cut recently, and got rid of the asymmetrical swoopy thing I had going on.

A cozy sweater for cold days. During one of this winter’s extra-cold days, I decided it was time to crochet something warm. I poked around Ravelry for a while, and decided this tunic. This post is late-coming. I finished the sweater over a month ago, but I have yet to take any pictures. I’ll edit this post to add them once they exist. ETA: Here are some pictures, finally. My brother Tyler got married last weekend. Well, he and Kim were married in a small legal ceremony in May, but they had a larger ceremony and reception Saturday. So now all four of us are old marrieds. Nice. Tyler and Kim have four kids between them, so congrats to the whole family! Here are some pictures. Kim’s sons walked her down the aisle. Kim’s daughter was her Maid of Honor. Heading into the “Honeymoon Suite” immediately following the ceremony. My girl wants to party all the time. September 16, 2015.

I’ve written and deleted a whole lot here, but I just don’t really know what to say. My grandma passed away a couple weeks ago. It was not sudden, but it is still sad. Mostly I just wanted to write down some memories, so instead of coming up with a good segue I’m just going to start a list:. Grandma was an amazing cook, as grandmas often are. She made the best and prettiest lemon meringue pie in the entire world. Only grandma could get the perfect ratio of Hershey’s Syrup to milk every time. Re...She did...

Well, I made it to thirty. Darren and I celebrated with a day off work and a huge lunch at Fogo. Last night we had a bunch of my favorite people over for food and games. I turned thirty on May 1, 2015. I had seen these “30 by 30” lists before, but was mostly inspired by Sandy at reinventingsandyb.com (she’s awesome, btw. Go read! So, because I love lists and accomplishment, I made a list of thirty things I wanted to accomplish by the time I turn thirty. While I did not accomplish all of them, I definitely had fun trying. The ones I missed are just things to do in he future. 1 Swim in the ocean. Holy crap, I did it. Done but not blogged. Maybe soon? I crocheted a sweater.
