Taking a Gamble: June 2016
http://myhorsehoudini.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
I'm placing my bet on us. Our Journey So Far. Thursday, June 30, 2016. Throughout our journey, Gambler and I have been confronted with a lack of time. Green horses need time. Hours of groundwork, hours with the saddle, and then, eventually, hours and hours of riding. Hours and hours that I have to scrounge up between sunrise and sunset, around work and school and friends and church and many other aspects of life. The smile says it all. Directly under the tree, head down, fully relaxed. First, I am out of...

Tuesday, April 24, 2012. It has been a good week! Full grown adults putting their arms up past their elbows with the sucking, slurping sound. Ickie! Sadly the mini baby didn't make it and they had to call the vet to come help. All the more reason I am not breeding animals. Monday, April 16, 2012. Equine Affaire is a Wrap. My Life on Horses: Sickness Brews and Beju Bear
http://mylifeonhorses.blogspot.com/2014/02/sickness-brews-and-beju-bear.html
Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Sickness Brews and Beju Bear. For almost the past week I had been pretty sick. My head was throbbing, I had a fever (which I hadn't got in forever! A cough that killed my throat, my eyes for some reason were in immense pain and looked like the eyes of the devil, I was almost too weak to stand, dizzy too, and nausea was always keeping me from eating. I literally spent days in bed barely getting up. But now I can finally get around again despite a foggy mind. What a nice gecko!

My Life on Horses: A Fun Start
http://mylifeonhorses.blogspot.com/2012/03/fun-start.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. First I want to say I LOVE YOU CHRIS COX. Okay, now that I have that out of my system I will get on with my post. Ava and I had a fun and relaxing week. All thanks to Chris Cox and Rick Gore for helping me train myself to become a better horsewoman. Ava went from a bucking unfocused maniac to a calm little pony I can ride out of an arena alone. Just two pictures before we went on our ride, look how calm she is! What a good girl! March 25, 2012 at 8:41 PM. Love a grey horse!

Wilbur, Ellie, & Emily: April 2015

Thursday, April 30, 2015. It was so quiet at the barn tonight. I left the office at 4 and was on Ellie by 5:15. The last of the juniors was wrapping up and I warmed Ellie up a bit in the meantime. We jumped- but rather than focusing there I had some amazing flatwork out of her- collected, balanced, energy- she felt awesome! And hot. After a long week it was time to have a little fun! Wilbur, Ellie, and Emily. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Wilbur, Ellie, and Emily. Monday, April 27, 2015. Oh- and overnight f...
