Trip to Kerala from 22 November 2008 until 5 December 2008. Sunday, November 9, 2008. Soon off to Kerala! Here I am again. In two weeks, we'll be enjoying the south indian heat and sun. Jocelyne again, (she just loves travelling) and two other girls who answered my ads on various travel sites. One being Laure from Paris and the second one being Josiane, living near Toulouse. Trip to Kerala from 22 November 2008 until 5 December 2008. Monday, May 18, 2009. MUNNAR 03.12.08. We visit Eravikulam National Park in the morning. The Park is home to the Nilgiri Tahr, a kind of mountain goat. A shuttle takes us from the entrance to the start of the walking path. All along the path, the views are fantastic. We walk near the park and encounter more peaceful animals called cows, grazing next to awesome tea plantations. Sugar cane before processing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Trip to Kerala from 22 November 2008 until 5 December 2008. Friday, June 19, 2009. LAST DAY - 04.12.2008. We leave the mountains this morning, in order to get back to Kochi to take our flight back home during the night. Yes, it is our last day in India! Before getting back to Kochi, we drive to Athirapally Waterfalls, they could be the Indian Niagara Falls. There are many school groups visiting the falls at this time and they are all very excited because of the movie shooting. India, see you again!

Trip to Kerala from 22 November 2008 until 5 December 2008. Monday, February 23, 2009. BACKWATERS - 27.11.2008. We are leaving our nice guesthouse today. Through the guesthouse, we have booked a houseboat for 24 hours. So we'll be able to enjoy life on the Backwaters for a longer time than just a day cruise. The boat is quite nice, but the rooms are a bit smelly. Not very airy in there. The front of the boat is fairly large and we can sit and enjoy. Dinner is very nice. Rice fields and cows.

Trip to Greece in May 2008 Athens-Andros-Tinos-Mykonos- Paros-Naxos-Santorini-Athens. Sunday, 1 June 2008. MAY 31 - BACK HOME. MAY 30 - ATHENS. Our room is Ok, fairly small, but Athens being a capital city, it is difficult to find a nice and cheap room. We pay 48 € for it, which is OK. The only thing we dislike there is that the hotel manager yells at his staff in front of the clients. Poor staff! Then, we head to the Acropolis, passsing first the Plaka area, very touristy, with many shops and restaurants.
