Well, my life is about to change drastically once again and once again, I am going to be loading up my house and traveling down the interstate. I dearly love teaching, but have found my self toying with the idea of another type of career.and after much prayer and many sleepless nights, I am taking the plunge. To where/what you might ask? So, y'all say a little prayer that the thing between my ears still works!

Wednesday, July 9, 2014. A few months have again passed and a ton has happened. We had an amazing trip to Guatemala. It was incredible to be back and see so many friends I have not seen in 5 years. Our group did great and all loved Guatemala. I am just going to leave you with a few videos from summer so far. All pictures from the last few months have been updated on Shutterfly. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Friday was another great day in Xela. This time of the year is very beautiful. Everything is still green from rainy season and the mornings and evenings are chilly and the afternoons warm up quickly because of the intense sun. I was supposed to meet Liz at a restaurant on the balcony of a. 160;building in central park, but I decided to take a walking tour of. Thursday, December 11, 2008. Soto continue my story, on Tuesday morning, my friend Liz and I met up in the morning and took the chicken bus to the hot springs about 20 minutes away. By the way, the chicken busses are not what I expected. It's like everyone of them came from some tv show called "Pimp My Bus." . Thursday, December 11, 2008. On Wednesday, I got all dressed up and left with the teachers on the bus that picks them up every morning. I got to the school (www.ias-xela.org) and spent half a day there taking pictures of the kids, meeting teachers and I even got to meet most of the school board! They are all great people with huge hearts and a deep passion for the ministry of the school. I felt very privileged to meet everyone! That night we all went to the stadium for a game I will never forget!

A journal of our life in Xela, Guatemala. Saturday, September 13, 2008. Inter-American School sits on a hill overlooking central Quetzaltenango (Xela). The campus is beautiful and the view of the city, with the Santa María Volcano in the background, is spectacular.
