Thursday, December 11, 2008. Soto continue my story, on Tuesday morning, my friend Liz and I met up in the morning and took the chicken bus to the hot springs about 20 minutes away. By the way, the chicken busses are not what I expected. It's like everyone of them came from some tv show called "Pimp My Bus." . When we arrived at the hot springs, there were only 4 or five other people there and it was so great! The rest of the evening we hung out with all our friends that had been teaching all day. It...

on the journey: Wednesday

http://coryinguate.blogspot.com/2008/12/wednesday.html

Thursday, December 11, 2008. On Wednesday, I got all dressed up and left with the teachers on the bus that picks them up every morning. I got to the school (www.ias-xela.org) and spent half a day there taking pictures of the kids, meeting teachers and I even got to meet most of the school board! They are all great people with huge hearts and a deep passion for the ministry of the school. I felt very privileged to meet everyone! That night we all went to the stadium for a game I will never forget!

Cory-in-Honduras | Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras!

Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras! Looking back on an amazing trip (part 1 of 3). January 15, 2012. We arrived back at Cho-Yeh. On Saturday afternoon to a night of recollection and laundry! It seems surreal that just a moment ago, we were in Honduras. The entire trip was amazing and, honestly, too short for me, but there was definitely a large impact on both ourselves and the families we served. More info to come…. Thank you for your contribution to making this trip a success!

Tales From the 10th

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Auckland, New Zealand- the end of the road. We got back to the hostel and had ourselves a little wine and BBQ night before braving the cold to walk into town for a look around. We looked in a few stores, stopped for some ice cream, and headed back home to hit the hay well before 10pm. NZ's famous silver fern! The tour was great and Auckland is an amazingly beautiful city, even by night!

A Good Plan is Hard to Find

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Bad karma and the results. Bad Karma and the results. On my way home, I see a double rainbow. It's awesome. I also learn that the power is back on. Even better. I get home without incident. That is until I look for my Nalgene. I left it in the matatu. Damn you Karma! So my number one wish list item is a new Nalgene bottle. So things look like they might be getting better, but who knows. TIA. For some good websites to check out, go to the following:.
