Tales From the 10th

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Auckland, New Zealand- the end of the road. We got back to the hostel and had ourselves a little wine and BBQ night before braving the cold to walk into town for a look around. We looked in a few stores, stopped for some ice cream, and headed back home to hit the hay well before 10pm. NZ's famous silver fern! The tour was great and Auckland is an amazingly beautiful city, even by night!

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Monday, March 28, 2011. What a Beautiful Life I Lead! I recently came across THIS ARTICLE. Chez Prune, just a block behind my house. My favorite view of the Canal Saint Martin. And now with the warm weather, this is the only view of the Canal. People picnicing with wine, beer, cheese, baguette, so fun! Boulangerie behind my house that was voted the best boulangerie in Paris in 2007. Place de la Republique. Coincide...

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We finished the meal by singing Happy Birthday in both French and English and digging into a delicious birthday cake! The kids were off to bed soon after, as was I at about 10pm, where I started my new book, Something Borrowed, also quite good! We whipped out a game of Uno, and then a game of "snap! And next thing we knew, it was time for the Easter egg hunt! My Easter turned out very dif...

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Roadtrip, part 1. The planning couldn't have worked out better, as we managed to pick up a stray to tag along on our journey and be our companion/driver! So we extended our roadtrip to include Queenstown in the south and a tour of the west coast, including the glaciers, before heading to Auckland. We made it to Christchurch and were presented with out car- a teeny tiny matchbox P.O...

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Cause this is THRILLER". When they got bored of games, we painted, when they got bored of painting, we had dance parties to Michael Jackson in the kitchen. This has led to an odd fascination of Michael Jackson by Alice and Lucien. They are requesting daily that we listen to MJ, and have actually begun memorizing the words! Other fun things keeping us busy include:. There's something co...

Here is my bildungsroman. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Approximately one month until I leave for Europe. Physical preparations have been underway for a while.my applications, my plane tickets, choosing what I'll be able to take over with me, etc. But now the mental and emotional preparation starts. I started reading The Irreverent Guide to Paris. And the words I needed sit on the first page:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Washington, United States. The world belongs to the energetic" -Emerson.

http://caitlinboyd.blogspot.com/2012/09/shaking-with-anticipation.html

Here is my bildungsroman. Thursday, September 6, 2012. 20 injured as major earthquake damages Costa Rica coast. Take off is still tomorrow. It's calming that the tsunami warning was called off and the magnitude was .3 less than originally reported. But still, I'm a bit uneasy. We'll have to get there and reassess traveling to the Pacific Coast. The Caribbean might be calling my name instead. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Washington, United States. expanding horizons: Pura Vida

http://caitlinboyd.blogspot.com/2012/09/pura-vida.html

Here is my bildungsroman. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Before bed, Dillon wanted to rinse off and found company in the shower:. I was almost okay with having a spider experience right away to get it over with. I've been hyping up the spiders in my head since I first started reading my Costa Rica guidebook (I would highly recommend Fodor's Guides), and yes, all of the bugs have lived up to expectations. I didn't sleep too well, but waking up to this view of the canyon was well worth it:. Washington, United ...

Maybe they do something you've never seen before or make a weird noise and you see them through new eyes? Well, I thought I loved Paris when we met in the summer. Here is my bildungsroman. Thursday, September 13, 2012. The last few days have been full, but a common theme has been this:. You probably wouldn't guess it, but this is a highway in Costa Rica. Not a back road or a driveway, a highway. Dillon and I rented a car to get around and I'm so thankful it's 4WD. Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to leave the city. Needless to say, the hike wasn't awesome. BUT afterwards, we went to Baldi Hot Springs. Nosara updates to come! September 14, 2012 at 11:17 AM.

Keeping up with the times. It was a one armed man →. From Fire to Ice. January 5, 2014. Wow, it’s been a while. Let’s recap, in the past half-year I’ve done a few other things:. A week after the rains came and gave the firefighters a huge help in controlling the fire, I was out hiking in the burnt out area. It was only after I came back that I leaned there was a $5000 fine for doing so. National Forest Service finds an excuse to clear-cut. Huge water basin used to feed the hoses a mile uphill. on the journey

Sunday, December 14, 2008. Friday was another great day in Xela. This time of the year is very beautiful. Cory-in-Honduras | Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras!

Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras! Looking back on an amazing trip (part 1 of 3). January 15, 2012. We arrived back at Cho-Yeh. On Saturday afternoon to a night of recollection and laundry! It seems surreal that just a moment ago, we were in Honduras. The entire trip was amazing and, honestly, too short for me, but there was definitely a large impact on both ourselves and the families we served. More info to come…. Thank you for your contribution to making this trip a success!

A Good Plan is Hard to Find

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Bad karma and the results. Bad Karma and the results. On my way home, I see a double rainbow. It's awesome. I also learn that the power is back on. Even better. I get home without incident. That is until I look for my Nalgene. I left it in the matatu. Damn you Karma! So my number one wish list item is a new Nalgene bottle. So things look like they might be getting better, but who knows. TIA. For some good websites to check out, go to the following:.

This Slovak Life

Saturday, 14 March 2015. Levice to Kalná nad Hronom. I ran out of yogurt this morning, so I had eggs for breakfast. When I cracked open the first one two yolks spilled out. I knew that happened sometimes, but I'd never seen it. When I cracked open the second one two more yolks slid into the frying pan! That's got to be a one in a million kind of chance. So I've had a four-yolk, over-easy kind of morning. I'd heard the man in front of me ask for a ticket to the same place, so I followed him when he got of...
