A Good Plan is Hard to Find

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Bad karma and the results. Bad Karma and the results. On my way home, I see a double rainbow. It's awesome. I also learn that the power is back on. Even better. I get home without incident. That is until I look for my Nalgene. I left it in the matatu. Damn you Karma! So my number one wish list item is a new Nalgene bottle. So things look like they might be getting better, but who knows. TIA. For some good websites to check out, go to the following:.

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. It makes babies disappear". So the first picture is of my host brothers and sisters (well two of them are missing). The second one is neighborhood kids. The third one was taken at the safari I went on in Ambeseli. We saw lions. 9 of them. My mama and our guide had never seen lions there before. So, awesome. A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Friday, February 24, 2012. Cory, Vampire Slayer. Work has really picked up. All of my groups have decided to undertake further IGAs and projects. Besides my ceramic jikos, yogurt, catering and farming. I am now helping to set up numerous other empires. So this means I am rushing to educate myself on poultry farming, goat farming, tree nurseries and paper beads. Watch out Tyson, I'm going to take over. Want to hear more? Cory, Vampire Slayer. A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Thursday, May 19, 2011. 17 Days to Go! I've been neglecting my kiSwahili the past couple of weeks, but have decided to brush up on some words that I think will help me. So I looked up snake today. Just in case I come face to face with one I can at least shout it's swahili name before it bites me. Tomorrow, I will learn "the lion is chasing me.". In the middle of reading "Bossypants" by Tina Fey. I am really going to miss 30 Rock. Want to hear more? 17 Days to Go!

http://coryinpeace.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. I love you.". Real question I got the other day. Food continues to be an issue with me. My whole day pretty much revolves around it. Thinking about it, making it and/or eating it. I even dream of food. Some people get really vivid nightmares from mephlaquin. I dream of food and peace corps. On a positive note, I have about 10 pounds of groundnuts (peanuts) that different mama's have given me. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. I attended a graduation ...

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars: June 2012

http://andreaflynnschneider.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars. Saturday, June 23, 2012. Dad's Trip to Kenya. I headed to the airport to pick up my dad on June 2. And was met with a warm embrace. I couldn’t help but shed a tear after not seeing my dad for over a year (the longest we’ve ever been apart). After a catching up over a few beers, we got to bed early to get some rest for our upcoming journey. It was off to Tanzania the next day to climb Kilimanjaro! 8221; I told you so! My dads trip went too quick and he flew out on the 20.

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Ethiopia was a world full of amazing food, dancing and especially people. As my 14. African country to visit, I can honestly say, I think it was one of my favorites if not my favorite. I’ll first start by giving an overview of all the amazing activities we did and the places we saw. We flew into Addis Ababa. Our next city was Lalibela. The last city, but not least, that we visited was Gondor. We had an instant bond! Ok so I have to dedicate a sec...

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars: Tipping Towards Thirty

http://andreaflynnschneider.blogspot.com/2013/01/tipping-towards-thirty.html

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. The next week my wonderful brother in law Chris was here promoting a new phone for Intel. My friend Hannah and I met up with him and even though he was only here for a short while, it felt so good to see family. He was so gracious and let us use his nice shower (a luxury for village girls), he treated us to amazing food and drinks. Overall we had a blast! I can’t announce on this public blog when exactly I will be back in America, but just ...

http://andreaflynnschneider.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars. Friday, December 28, 2012. Another Christmas in Kenya. Christmas Eve night we spent at church from 8pm until 12am. It was actually more fun than regular church, because the youth ran it and it was just a lot of singing and dancing. I even sung “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Silent Night” with my friend Chebet. I also danced a lot! It was so cute and magical. Anyway, I leave for vacation tomorrow and am so looking forward to getting a break from the village and seeing Adam! First,...

http://andreaflynnschneider.blogspot.com/2013/03/no-news-is-good-news.html

My Life Under the Kenyan Stars. Thursday, March 7, 2013. No News Is Good News. Not much has been happening with the Kenyan election. They voted on the 4. Have had a lot of problems with the system so people are just waiting for ballots to be counted. Some people had to wait in line for 6 hours to vote. I could never see an American doing that! Consolidation has been especially nice because of the really cool people I get to hang out with! Especially the ones that were in my training class. We are all...

on the journey

Sunday, December 14, 2008. Friday was another great day in Xela. This time of the year is very beautiful. Everything is still green from rainy season and the mornings and evenings are chilly and the afternoons warm up quickly because of the intense sun. That night I packed and we all went to the school's Christmas Program, which was a highlight of the trip. Afterwards...

Cory-in-Honduras | Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras!

Share my experience on our Camp Cho-Yeh staff trip to Honduras! Looking back on an amazing trip (part 1 of 3). January 15, 2012. We arrived back at Cho-Yeh. On Saturday afternoon to a night of recollection and laundry! It seems surreal that just a moment ago, we were in Honduras. The entire trip was amazing and, honestly, too short for me, but there was definitely a large impact on both ourselves and the families we served. More info to come…. Thank you for your contribution to making this trip a success!

Tales From the 10th

Tales From the 10th. Stories from my adventure living in the 10th arrondissement in Paris! Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Auckland, New Zealand- the end of the road. We got back to the hostel and had ourselves a little wine and BBQ night before braving the cold to walk into town for a look around. We looked in a few stores, stopped for some ice cream, and headed back home to hit the hay well before 10pm. NZ's famous silver fern! The tour was great and Auckland is an amazingly beautiful city, even by night!

A Good Plan is Hard to Find. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Bad karma and the results. Bad Karma and the results. On my way home, I see a double rainbow. It's awesome. This Slovak Life

Saturday, 14 March 2015. Levice to Kalná nad Hronom. I ran out of yogurt this morning, so I had eggs for breakfast. When I cracked open the first one two yolks spilled out. I knew that happened sometimes, but I'd never seen it. When I cracked open the second one two more yolks slid into the frying pan! That's got to be a one in a million kind of chance. So I've had a four-yolk, over-easy kind of morning. I'd heard the man in front of me ask for a ticket to the same place, so I followed him when he got of...
