July 10, 2011. At some point between becoming a paralegal or lawyer I decided to do more good for the world and attempt a career with the United Nations. I just feel more at home in trying to save the world rather than trying to save a perpetrator from getting away with a crime. Plus law school is another 4 years of my life . . . Age limitations . . . really! By the time I want to do this internship I will be 34 . . . OH NO NOT THAT! Very frustrating to say the least. Posted in U.N. Laquo; Back on Track.

March 13, 2011. Body Recomp.: Week 6. I have decided to do one weekly post rather than one post each day. My blog is clogging up my Facebook feeds. 🙂. Day 36 – Monday. Breakfast: 4 egg whites, turkey bacon, black beans. Lunch: salad with chili. Dinner: Grilled chicken, zucchini and tomato. Drank lots of water and unsweetened tea today. About 4 Trenta sized teas. A Wintery Summer in South Africa. Today we had a morning session and then hiked to the Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern most point of Africa. After lunch we met for a lengthy afternoon session and some reflective writing. We were lucky enough to come across a troop of baboons. The entree on tonight’s menu was Moroccan chicken on the braai. A Wintery Summer in South Africa. Today we went wine tasting at five vineyards just outside of Cape Town. The wine was amazing, as was the cheese that accompanied it.
