I tried Donna’s soup recipe on Saturday afternoon. I can report back that it was a success! I haven’t cooked many soups, so I’m new to the whole thing. But this is a really easy and yummy autumn soup. I forgot to snap the finished product (too busy eating I think! Add 1 cup red lentils. Add 1 can tomatoes.

This is the kind of meal that takes time to prepare, so allow yourself at least 2-3 hours and enjoy the experience! See food. eat. It’s been a while … →. Dad’s Spelt White Loaf. January 23, 2011. In December 2010, Lisa went all ‘no/low wheat’ on us (and is much better for it I might add). So me and my Dad (home bread baker expert) tried our hand at baking a loaf of spelt flour bread. I’m pleased to say it turned out pretty good. For those of us that don’t know, Spelt. 500g sifted white spelt flour (I bought the Macro brand from Woolies from the health food section). 285ml of warm water. 2 straws of shallots chopped.
