Knit Out & About: A stroll by the Lancaster Canal
http://knitoutandabout.blogspot.com/2011/11/stroll-by-lancaster-canal.html
Knit Out and About. My knitting and family life. Tuesday, 22 November 2011. A stroll by the Lancaster Canal. It was a nice crisp Autumnal day, so myself, Sal and the boys decided to go for a walk. We parked up at Carnforth and strolled along the canal, up in to Bolton-le-Sands briefly to then turn back along some rather muddy lanes and back along the canal to Carnforth. So glad I decided to wear my Hunter wellies. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow this blog with bloglovin.

Knit Out & About: October 2011
http://knitoutandabout.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Knit Out and About. My knitting and family life. Sunday, 16 October 2011. As winter draws ever nearer it is an excellent excuse to knit more hats - a girl can never have enough hats. I picked up the pattern book 'Precious'. By Kim Hargreaves recently and have started the pattern Kat from it; knitted in Rowan Kid Classic. Really shouldn't have started another project, as I have oodles to do on the needles already. Ah well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow this blog with bloglovin.

Knit Out & About: March 2011
http://knitoutandabout.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Knit Out and About. My knitting and family life. Sunday, 6 March 2011. Oh dear, knitting has taken a back seat as I am currently obsessed with cross stitching. It is very addictive and calming. I grabbed a couple of small kits from Hobbycraft to get the hang of things and the latest edition of Cross Stitcher magazine and did the free kit from that. And now I have a frame and large piece of aida and threads to tackle a bigger design. It is made up only full stitches, no halves or fiddly bits.

http://cardiffcyclechic.blogspot.com/2010/07/bike-week-cycle-chic-and-love-handles.html
Saturday, 3 July 2010. Bike week, Cycle Chic and Love Handles. The weather in Cardiff last week really was fantastic. Luckily, last week was Team Green Britain Bike Week 2010 http:/ www.bikeweek.org.uk/. So no one could complain it was cold, damp or too misrable to ride thier bikes. A longer post about Bike Week is in the pipeline so enough about that here, apart from to say Cardiff hosted several events the culmination of which was the Barrage bike festival and the Milgi / Sustrans event Love Handles.
