Tuesday, April 24, 2012. The bigger kids all love helping to take care of her. Charly often gets her out of bed when she wakes up in the morning, Carter is always right there to do something silly like whack himself in the head to make her laugh and Caelyn will quietly walk up to her with a calming shhh and give her the binki when she's crying. Friday, July 6, 2012. It finally feels like summer has arrived and boy is it HOT! I'm not quite sure if we will be able to handle much more of the 100 degree weather but we've been having fun regardless. Here are some of the things we've been doing:. Saturday, January 9, 2010. Caelyn wasn't so sure about the photographer either. She has the cutest huge smile and dimple but she didn't feel like showing them. At least she was happy and we got a couple of grins. She is ADORABLE! It took a little bit for Carter to warm up to the photographer but we got some good Carter looks. Friday, August 3, 2012. Charly got to participate in a one week cheer camp this summer and really loved it. You can tell by the huge smile on her face. The camp was put on by a few of the Waukee High School Cheerleaders. Charly has never taken dance but after watching her it made me rethink puting her in a dance class or something. She's pretty good. She got the award for the best moves.They danced to the song "So Call Me Maybe." So proud of her and happy that she had fun! Waukee, IOWA, United States.

Monday, October 5, 2009. After a few adventures that we've had, it has been suggested to me that when I really feel flustered about something that my kids have done I should just take a picture and write about it. Doing this takes the focus off of the kids and lets me get it out with out hurting anyone. So here you go. The above picture is the sight of this mornings crime scene. There is a simple solution to my problems, and that is to lock him up while I am in the shower. Here is why. 2 and 1 1/2 baths.

Friday, August 3, 2012. NMFN Annual Meeting part 2. Jason was busy the Monday that we were in Milwaukee. He had meetings starting at 6am and he wasn't done until midnight. The day before had been pretty busy between church and race and zoo so we just hung out at the hotel. We took our time at breakfast, swam in the pool, took good naps, and had treats. November 1, 2012. Abigail isn't quite old enough for trick-or-treating and she doesn't really 'get' it yet but we still had a great time dressing up this year! I have a weakness for animal costumes so Abigail was a zebra this year - she was a lion last year. We celebrated last week at her preschool class party. I made these cute little treat bags for all the kids. As always, we carved pumpkins and this year Abigail could help clean out the 'guts.'. He carved the jack-o-lantern face and I carved the ghost.
