Things My Roommate Makes. Everybody has heroes. Some wear capes or unitards. Some stand up for what is good and right. Some are just everything you need them to be: warm, creative, funny. Wonderful. This hero wears a blazer and a smile. She is armed with laughter and baked goods. It was a treat to meet this hero, Joy the Baker. In person. A Family's Life. It's a delicious adventure…. January 16, 2013. Like everyone else that I know, one of Seyfi and mine`s new years resolutions is to eat more healthy. It`s not that we have a very unhealthy diet, but we have days where we can get a bit lazy, and eat anything, not thinking about the health benefits of it. On this same track, we have decided that we should eat more vegetables, less meat, and try out as many new recipes as we can. Part of the new foods we have been eating is brussels sprouts.

A Little Bit of This and That with Lori. Friday, September 14, 2012. Elliott Family Fun at Ft. Myers Beach. Family vacations are really important to the Elliott bunch. The older the kids get, the harder it is for all of us to be together and extra difficult to travel somewhere. Our calendars keep getting crazier and crazier. But we made it happen this month, if only for a few days, it was worth it! We spent Labor Day weekend together in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Thank you Lord for beautiful beaches!
