This past Wednesday morning was the first I noticed our Cicada invasion. The Cicada lives underground most of their life and emerge every 13 years. This is the year for us! The Cicada emerges from the ground looking like this. Then they molt and emerge from their shell, with wings and beady red eyes. The brown hard shell is left behind. Or better yet, just come visit!

Becoming healthier each and every day. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Long time, no see! I hope everyone made it through Irene okay! We only got a bit of wind and rain in Milford, NH. Didn't even lose power. My thoughts are with everyone who was affected. I actually made up a couple decent sized bags for donations. I'm hoping to find a place to bring them tomorrow.
