Waiting for Lauren Elizabeth: November 2008
http://waitingforlaurenelizabeth.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2008. This past Saturday Joe and I headed over to IKEA to pick up some fun stuff to turn our spare bedroom (aka.junk room) into a play room for Lauren and a place to store her toys. This pile will help turn the room into a bright, fun place for her to be creative and play. We are going to use IKEA's Trofast. System for toy storage. I like the idea of pulling the bins out to carry into other rooms and then being able to put the mess away and tuck the bins back into place. I love the s...

Waiting for Lauren Elizabeth: Mother's Day...
http://waitingforlaurenelizabeth.blogspot.com/2009/05/mothers-day.html
Sunday, May 10, 2009. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day, especially those celebrating their very first one! For me there were some tears, but they were happy tears. As I was holding Lauren this morning I thought about the many years we had hoped and prayed for a child and finally she is here! Today we took my Mom to an early lunch at Macaroni Grill (yum! Here's a pic of Lauren showing Grandma ("ma") her gift. The best part of any gift is playing with the tissue paper. Where's Lauren? 9:06 PM, May ...

Friday, May 01, 2009. I had Joe draw the names since Little Miss is napping. After I took this pic, I thought of "Thing" from The Adams Family (wasn't that the hand from the show? Waiting for Lauren Elizabeth: Update...
http://waitingforlaurenelizabeth.blogspot.com/2009/05/update.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. Well, let's get on to some pictures. Last weekend we went to a peach festival at a local farm. It was a nice event, but it was WAY TOO HOT to be out there. We only lasted a couple of hours in the heat, but Lauren got to ride a pony for the first time. Here's a couple of scrap pages for her 1st year book (click to enlarge). After the festival, we stopped for lunch. Look Dad, Lauren knows how to fold her pizza over now like a true New Yorker. 12:06 PM, May 25, 2009. Have a great week.

Waiting for Lauren Elizabeth: I'm hanging in there...
http://waitingforlaurenelizabeth.blogspot.com/2009/05/im-hanging-in-there.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2009. I'm hanging in there. But it sure is HARD going back to work! The work day flew by and before I knew it, it was 5pm and time to go. I only called Joe once that morning and I got through the day without any tears until I called Joe on the way home. He said that Lauren was crying and calling for me when she got up from her nap. With that, the water works started and I had a little cry on the way home. I knew this wasn't going to be easy and it isn't, that's for sure! Darnit.I j...

Waiting for Lauren Elizabeth: January 2009
http://waitingforlaurenelizabeth.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. Yes, we got Lauren down for a nap in her crib at 1:15pm today! This may sound like a little thing, but it's a BIG success at our house today. She has been so off on her sleeping since we've been home that she won't nap until she crashes at about 5pm and then won't go to bed for the night until WAY late. It was late (about 10:30pm) because she napped late, but it was a drama free bedtime and I'll take that anytime. Eventually, we'll get her into bed earlier and earlier. I wante...
