A Toast to the Family: A Mother's Prayer
http://atoasttothefamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/prayers-these-days-seem-to-focus-on-my.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Prayers these days seem to focus on my children. I suppose it will be that way for the rest of my life. One of the most difficult things for me as a parent is knowing when to discipline them and when to pick my battles. You can’t get mad at them for everything otherwise you would always be mad! This was kind-of how my prayer went the other night:. Help me to know when to let them play and when to make them go to bed. Help me to know when to discipline and when to let it go.

I whispered strongly, "How I wish-. I wish that you could hear,. I've a hundred wonderful things to say,. A tiny cough and a nod),. Hurry, hurry, hurry and grow. Art Projects ...

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Funny Fotos from February. The 50 lb. block of butter from Nate's brother. Butter: the best gift anyone could give. :). I wanted to carve it into some swans and put it on the table for my niece's wedding. I thought the guests at the reception could go rub their rolls in it. :) She didn't take me up on that idea. Bryn sledding. Look at how happy she is! Cookies Make Everything Better. Should I make your favorite dinner so you can eat it when you get home? Amy and Jeff Peterson.

A Toast to the Family: Dare to Stand Alone
http://atoasttothefamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/dare-to-stand-alone.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. Dare to Stand Alone. As we go about living from day to day, it is almost inevitable that our faith will be challenged. We may at times find ourselves surrounded by others and yet standing in the minority or even standing alone concerning what is acceptable and what is not. Do we have the moral courage to stand firm for our beliefs, even if by so doing we must stand alone? President Thomas S. Monson , Dare to Stand Alone,. October 2011 General Conference. A Toast to the Family: July 2012

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Harry Potter Marathon 2012. I feel like I am really missing out because I haven’t seen all the Harry Potter movies. It bothers me that I don’t know all the details of the whole story. I know I should have read the books to my kids instead, but . . . we decided to borrow the movies from a friend and watch all of them, 1 movie a day! Anyway, here are the activities and treats we had each day of our eight days of Potter. I tried to keep it all simple and inexpensive! Guess # of jelly...

A Toast to the Family: Baby!
http://atoasttothefamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/baby.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Another labor story . . . My baby is 5 weeks old! Everyone says that babies grow up and change so quickly, but I feel like I’ve had this one forever! When exactly was the last time I slept for more than 2 hours in a row? Greyson likes to cuddle, and he likes to eat, and he likes to sleep (play dead) during the day when his siblings are awake and can torment him. It was a busy couple of days at the hospital, and it was. Baby, so the nurses left us alone for the time we were there.
