I still have some catch-up posts to do about the things we've been up to in the past two weeks, but I'll just fill you in with some up-to-date information. Penny, the new AET who will be living our apartment arrived last night. Adventures of an Aussie teaching English in Japan. Sunday, May 15, 2011. On Friday evening, I went out for dinner with the Year 6 teachers from my Friday school. This included the homeroom teachers and the support staff, and me. The restaurant was one where you order a number of dishes and share them around the table - a very common way to eat out in Japan. Eating out with a group of Japanese people, I finally had the "opportunity" to sample Japanese "delicacies". Cooked foods I ate:. Prawn - yes, boring.

After a wonderful four and a half weeks of holidays, to which we thoroughly adjusted, today was a nasty first day back at work. Tuesday, 12 April 2011. Earthqakes earthquakes every day. Another quick update as I need to prepare for tomorrows school lessons with grades 1-6. Thouhg I should upadte the current earthquake situation. We have not been affected in any way by the earthquakes that have been occouring over the last few days. Thursday, 31 March 2011. The end of another day. Chis and I are already tired of shopping. But I ad better start from the start. The morning was mostly taken up with signing forms for our alien card applications etc, and I am now officially head of our household, YES! Though i don't want to push that title too far.). Anyway then another scrumptious lunch was forthcoming. I am amazes at how great all the food it here! Its basically a cabbage pancake Pizza, watashi wa suki desu! Its been a busy busy day...

Wednesday, 6 April 2011. Just a quick update as it has been a while. This week has been mostly filled with training and searching for food. The training has been predominately focused on going through all the material supplied for us for each of the year levels. While 90% of our time will be spent with grad 5-6 we will be doing some work with younger kids. Should keep life interesting! Saturday, 2 April 2011. Training on Friday was a basic introduction as expected. We went out to the park for lunch and were mobbed by 10-13 year old boys looking for chocolate and to gawk at the gaijin :). All in good fun. We have been out shopping all morning and I'm not feeling up to writing much detail today, so I shall leave you with a collection of some of the interesting and strange things we have encountered with over the last few days. Saturday, 9 April 2011. Doing the Tourist thing. Hiya all, and thanks for all the comments and well wishes :). Just as a quick note we did not feel anything during the earthquake on thursday night. None of the other AET's here did either. From what we have heard there has been minimal damage and as far as we are concerned it is business as usual. Про депрессию, неочевидное. Feb 19th, 2016 11:06 am. Дисклеймер: так получилось, что у меня сейчас депрессия. Я лечу ее психофармакологией и когнитивными методами, и что-то становится даже лучше, но пока нельзя сказать, что депрессия прошла совсем. Наверное, время от времени я буду сюда о ней писать.). Одно из неочевидных проявлений депрессии заключается в том, что часто депрессия, а вовсе даже не я, распоряжается моим ресурсом. Это повергает меня в полное отчаяние, что опять же очень радует депрессию.
