August 24, 2016. Luke will do great with walking, but then his silly tibia will get in the way! Little cracks and big cracks. Now a broken bone all the way through. I’ve sent the X-rays to Montreal hoping they will agree to rod his tibias this year. I believe rodding his tibias will give him a better quality life of staying mobile. Back at Aquatic PT. Luke update →. August 26, 2014. Can’t believe it’s been 7 weeks since Luke’s surgery! And 4 since getting his spica off. That means only 2 to go until we can start unlocking the knees of his braces, which will be more comfortable for him. He’s definitely living life now. So active, silly and hyper. Arm Update →. Day 2 Done, Headed Home! November 6, 2014. We left the hospital yesterday and had a great nap back at the hotel. Luke slept over four hours! We woke him up and went to another mall that’s a little further away. We got there around 6pm to eat and walk around and everything was closed! Things close up so early here.
