Sunday, March 25, 2007. I've become addicted to hooking rugs. It is very much like painting. Instead of a brush I use a hook, and instead of paint I use 1/4 inch wide strips of recycled wool cloth. I pull them through a linen backing. I've collected many colors but I am very limited. I must use my painting skills to 'mix' the colors to create the tones and hues I really want. This rug 'Spring Storm. My favorite source for dyed wool cloth. It is approximately 30" x 20". Tuesday, March 20, 2007.

Thursday, May 1, 2008. Today Jack was barking like he never does. When I went out he was digging at the fence that goes around his pen. When I went in to look at it there was a woodchuck hissing at him from under the woodpile pallets. He was very cute and looked at us with curiosity. but when we went to get a better photo he got scared and ran away. What do you think Jack is thinking in this photo?
