Maa Inti Vanta - My Home Cooking. Original Homemade Recipes and Tidbits. Gajar ka halwa or carrot halwa is a very nutritious and tasty Indian sweet dish. It is a very simple process; nothing can actually go wrong here. By using evaporated or half-half, cooking time will be drastically reduced. 1 can Evaporated Milk or 1 cup Half-half. 1½ cups Sugar. 189; tsp Elachi powder. 2 tsp Cashew nuts. Few strands of saffron. 1 tsp Rice flour. Wash and peel carrots. Finely grate them, keep aside. Fried food / Snack.

Maa Inti Vanta - My Home Cooking. Original Homemade Recipes and Tidbits. 1 cup Bengal Gram - Senagapindi. 1 cup Ghee (Pure ghee can be used or oil can also be added.). 189; cup Oil. 189; cup Water. Take 1 tsp of ghee in a non stick pan and add the flour. Fry on low flame till nicely done and color changes along with aroma of fried flour. Remove from flame let cool and sieve the flour to remove any lumps. This will make the flour aerated. Melt ghee in a vessel and leave it on low flame till it is used.

Welcome to My Kitchen. Thursday, December 17, 2009. Allpurpose flour - 2 cups. Sugar - 1/2 cup. Rice flour - 3 tbsp. Butter - 1/2 cup. Cooking Soda - 1/2 tsp. Oil - For fry. Take Allpurpose flour in a blow, add cooking soda and butter. Add sufficient amount of water and make a dough. Knead the dough well, it should be like a chapathi or a puri dough. Mix rice flour in 3 to 4 tsp of butter. Roll the dough into chapathis. Now take the rice flour-butter mixer and spread on the chapathi. Make a suger syrup.

Experiments with cooking…. I have adapted this from one of the food blogs and this is really easy breezy to make. Besan flour : 1 cup. Ghee : 3/4 th cup. Milk – 1 spoon. Sugar powdered – cup. Fry besan in one spoon ghee in a pan for about 5-7 mins in medium flame. Then mix besan and sugar in a microwave bowl . Now add ghee and one spoon of milk into it and stir well.
