Writing, thoughts, ramblings, and what makes me laugh. I’m in the South. It’s snowed 8 inches. That’s equivalent to 12 feet in Chicago. Lives are paused for a snow day in the South. I shall return after it has melted. January 11, 2011. I try to write as much as possible. I have a screenplay in hollywood right now and a couple of children’s books being marketed to some agents. I enjoy Young Adult books and I have a couple of Youth targeted novels that are in the second draft stage. Reggie on Snow Days.

Williams Sonoma makes the pan “Ebelskiver” as well as a pancake mix that makes them relatively easy to make. I’m pretty sure that Coq Au Vin doesn’t have cheese or cream which probably makes this recipe better than a traditional one! Replace the cream with milk for a lighter version. My guess is that you could skip the browning of the chicken part since you’re using skinless chicken and the slow cooking tenderizes the meat so much. For some reason I can’t find my veggie picture on my computer but we loved the sweet potato/bell pepper combination. Source: All Recipes.com. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 cup chicken broth.

A blog about a not so new newlywed,who loves to cook and nurse on the side. I remember my mom making goulash when I was a little girl. I have been looking for a good recipe to try. She never seemed to follow a recipe, just whipped it up on her own. I do better if I have a recipe to follow. I have made the Paula Deen recipe in the past, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. This recipe was delicious!
