Raised in a Barn. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Soit's been a long time. So, It has been a terribly long time since I posted to this blog.let's see. Larkin turned 7 this year, Clara and Jonathan turned 2, and Taylor and John turned 5. We have traveled more this year than any other year that I can remember of late. We not only went to the beach and Disney again this year, but to NY, Philly, Hershey, Asheville, Memphis (for a CE, yuk! But we still had fun)! My baby is so good to his Mommy and Daddy.so goo...

Back in early August, Andrew and I took a shuttle bus into the park and went for a day hike up Sable Mountain. It's about 35-40 miles out the park road, just past Teklanika River and Igloo Canyon. It was a glorious day! The fall colors were just starting to turn. Just a few miles into the park we could see that the big mountain was booming!

Luke is not interested in having his picture taken these days. This is about as much as I could get out of him. One of the kids' favorite things is to have Edward throw them in the air. They ask him to do it everytime we come to the beach. Alex just enjoyed exploring. Well, he also enjoyed hanging out with me. He fell asleep after playing very hard.

Denali was sending us a smile for sure :). We had a few days of warm weather recently that led to significant melt, but the most recent cold snap froze it all again. Boss enjoyed the drive! Someone had just trudged through the snow out on the Teklanika River (to check out the open water spot maybe) and stomped out a heart shape in the snow!
