Monday, November 4, 2013. Self Pity Be Damned. Last year in November I went through Thanksgiving (was supposed to be the whole month) with a "thankful for" every day. While it shouldn't be so difficult to come up with something I am thankful for every day, it truly was hard. I really appreciated the challenge for that reason. With that said, I don't intend on taking this challenge again. Except one, this is a story I don't tell often. You will see why as you read on. So at midnight I cried, of course!

Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Bailey's Sweet 16 Jan 2nd. Well, it finally happened. My sweet Bailey turned sweet 16! As a gift to each of our kids they know that on their 16th birthday they get to go anywhere in the US for a vacation with no siblings. Just Mom and Dad (and in this case.Grandma and Papa). Bailey's birthday party was in Kauai, HI! What a lucky little girl, because let me just tell you.Hawaii is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! Nathan and I waiting for the plane to take off.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Fathers Day was spent BBQ'ing, and pool time. I spent SO much time in the pool I did not get many pictures. But look at all that yummy food!
