MacDonald's Farm: September 2012
http://jkmacdonaldsfarm.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Everyday occurences and random thoughts about our family's journey through this life. Friday, September 7, 2012. Welcome to our little spot in the country. Our driveway - it's nice to have caliche put down. This will be the house site. We've cleared some cactus, but that is about it at this point. Here is the barn site. We'll start it soon! The nice thing about clearing out the mesquite to make room for our house and barn is that we are getting a good supply of firewood. One of the resulting ditches.

MacDonald's Farm: June 2007
http://jkmacdonaldsfarm.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Everyday occurences and random thoughts about our family's journey through this life. Friday, June 29, 2007. Reese is looking forward to joining them in lessons next year, but this year she had to be satisfied with getting in the pool with Mommy on the other side of the pool from the lessons. As long as she got to get wet she was happy, but I had to keep my eye on her! She is not afraid of the water. This is as far under as I'm going, Mom! I want to get my feets wet! Friday, June 29, 2007. At this point ...

MacDonald's Farm: October 2012

Everyday occurences and random thoughts about our family's journey through this life. Tuesday, October 2, 2012. The barn slab has been poured! The beams are going up. It's starting to look like a building. The walls are up! A view from the back. The front of the barn. You can just see our camper to the side. We lived in that for almost a month while we were waiting on the barn to be finished. The barn's "front door." It feels a little more like home with a welcome mat and some potted plants.

Paige has also improved on hers quite a bit and Reese is finally figuring out the pedaling motion. Once she decides to watch where she is going instead of looking at her feet she will do much better! Here's Jim getting ready for his race. Go, Troy, go! Friday, May 25, 2007. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. I warned the kids to watch ...

Thanks for being such a great example to your children of a strong, Christian marriage. You take your vows seriously and we appreciate that immensely. Thanks also for getting married on Halloween. MacDonald's Farm: Woah...
http://jkmacdonaldsfarm.blogspot.com/2011/05/woah.html
Everyday occurences and random thoughts about our family's journey through this life. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. This tummy bug has stunk! Shortly after everyone left, Troy made a dash for the bathroom. As I was helping him clean up afterward, I made the comment that he might have to move over pretty quickly because my stomach was not feeling too good. He got a very Jim-like grin on his face, and said, "Happy Mother's Day." We both cracked up. I love that he has his father's sense of humor. Its Been a While.
