Our SWIMMING day is MONDAY / Our PE day is WEDNESDAY. Tuesday, 11 June 2013. Our visit to Dan yr Ogof Caves. On the 6th June we visited Dan yr Ogof caves. We walked through the caves which were dark and scary at times and saw lots of stalactites and stalagmites. We pointed out the ones we saw on the internet and especially liked the piece of bacon! Below are some photographs that Mrs Davies took and her assistant photographer Tomi Frankland. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Back to Maes-y-coed Blog.

Mrs Dyas' Class: Spring Bulbs

http://www.maes-y-coedjd.blogspot.com/2015/03/spring-bulbs.html

Our SWIMMING day is MONDAY / Our PE day is WEDNESDAY. Monday, 9 March 2015. During the summer 2014 the National Museum of Wales sent us plant pots, weather station equipment and bulbs (daffodil and crocus). They needed our help. They wanted to see how weather can affect the growing of flowers. They asked us if we would adopt and name a crocus and a special daffodil called the 'Tenby Daffodil', this daffodil is in decline so they wanted us to help them keep them growing. Headlice Information

Monday, 9 November 2015. Help when coping with an infestation. Vital knowledge about the life-cycle. A head louse usually hatches 7 to 10 days after the egg is laid (sometimes 5 to 11 days). A newly-hatched head-louse becomes full-grown in a minimum of 6 days. Full-grown head lice move from head to head; younger lice tend to stay on the head where they hatch. Full-grown lice mate and the female starts laying eggs, at the earliest on day 7 after she herself hatched. Preventing head-lice from spreading:.

Mrs Cogbill's Class

Wednesday, 3 June 2015. Our Visit to St John’s Church. Mrs Cogbill’s and Mrs King’s class recently visited St John’s Church on the Graig. We had a look around the inside of the church and Father Michael spoke to us all. We were able to ask him questions to find out more about the internal features of the church. We also had squash and biscuits which was a lovely treat. We all learned lots and lots! All pupils work will be on display during the church summer fete on Saturday 6. Saturday, 31 May 2014.
