A family's journey through Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean aboard their sailboat. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Living on a boat, at anchor, in a land based society. Is it a pain in the booty to transport groceries and laundry back and forth via dinghy? Have I paid a few library fines for water damaged books? Of course, but I wouldn’t change a thing. To some, our life is strange and bazaar. To us it makes sense. Live simply. Travel. See the world. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monterey to Morro Bay.

We trekked from Tapachula to Mexico City, from Mexico City to Las Vegas, from Vegas to Mesa, AZ. We dragged along 2 smiling kids, a highly adaptable cat, and all sorts of possession we thought would be necessary for the next six months. Let's spend the summer in Arizona! What were we thinking? 65279;. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). After spending ...

Lost in Guna Yala. Postlet: A Cloudy Day in Sabudupored. I haven’t done a Spam post in a while. It’s a great way to provide a bunch of tidbits about our current location. Spam posts were started in The Bahamas. When I took a photo of three shelves of different varieties of Spam in the local grocery store. SVAquadesiac: Tulum and Dos Ojos Cenote
http://svaquadesiac.blogspot.com/2014/04/tulum-and-dos-ojos-cenote.html
Doug and Linda Simms Homeport San Francisco, CA (Napa). Sunday, April 6, 2014. Tulum and Dos Ojos Cenote. Tulum by the Sea! We rented a car and took a rode trip to Tulum. It was incredibly hot and windy. Must have been spectacular when it was a working city. They Mayans are very small people, I had to watch my head! And we're done. Hot, windy and now really thirsty! Swinging in the beach bar breeze. It was really, really good and really, really cold. Doug and Linda Simms. Spot Page for SVAquadesiac.
