DIY: Give Thanks Burlap Craft. Before I completely skip over Thanksgiving as a holiday for decorating, I thought I'd share a quick craft project I made for our entry. An important reminder to be thankful. I had this 6 in x 8 in burlap panel in my craft. Hoard that I'd picked up on clearance from Hobby Lobby a few months ago. Trace it onto the freezer paper and carefully cut out the letters, saving the insides on the "g", "e", and "a". A simple Thanksgiving craft that you could keep on display year round!

We woke up this morning to frozen water pipes. completely frozen. we think we know where the problem is and we're working on fixing it, but for right now, none of the faucets work, we can't flush the toilet, etc. This makes me angry. as if my house wasn't already a mess, i now can't do my dishes, do laundry, etc. I have many things to do before we leave for kentucky on thursday that are compeltely on my shoulders. hence, the messy house. This chicken stew basically needs only carrots, potatoes and chicken meat. Other ingredients that would be great with this recipe includes celery, firm tofu and zucchini.
