We love each other (like a lot) but more importantly, we love making stuff. Mostly delicious tasting stuff, but we are excited about making all kinds of stuff…. One girl's adventure on the Appalachian Trail. March 19, 2014. Where are they now? Some updates and some closure…. March 13th came and went with the idea that I was going to come back to this space and finish what I started, at least here, on this blog but that didn’t happen, neither did Katahdin. Funny how life happens. I moved to a new place. A beautiful place. With land and trails and animals. It is a new setting but speckled with familiar pieces of a life I have loved before, surrounded b...All of th...

Home - Making it in Mansfield
Hi, I’m Tracy. I was born in Marion, Ohio, and by the time I was in fourth grade I was pretty sure I’d move to Paris. While I never moved to a country with a 32-hour workweek and paid maternity leave, I did get the hell out of dodge…sort of. Turns out that minus a brief stint in the South, I’ve never strayed too far from the Rust Belt. Born in a steel town, I ended up forging the framework for my career in the motor city. I never planned to move back to Ohio, but here I am in Mansfield, Ohio. Sep 18, 2017.

Making it in Mongolia
Making it in Mongolia. A story of breadth. Monday, 23 July 2012. What better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon than sitting around a kitchen with friends, learning about bread, kneading and shaping dough, then being rewarded with beautiful fresh ciabatta and french loaf.and let's not forget the stinky cheese! Thanks Houston for inviting us around, and for Taylor for making it happen (and documenting each moment). Working out the bakers' formula. My shaggy dough in the mixer. Houston shapes the ciabatta.
