Mimomma's Backyard: Modeling Manners of the Heart
http://makinglemonadelessons.blogspot.com/2007/05/modeling-manners-of-heart.html
Lessons, Bible, activities, school, homeschool, bublic, private, fun. Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Modeling Manners of the Heart. Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them leaves an impression.". Statistically, I can improve the frequency of my child's genuine outward display of gratefulness by actively practicing the saying "Thank you for ." or the writing of thank you notes. (I also firmly believe that thank yous should be 'gift. With an added note of why/how the gift is important. I thanked them...

Lessons, Bible, activities, school, homeschool, bublic, private, fun. Sunday, April 29, 2007. So Why This Blog? Since then, I mentally have been planning how and what I was going to do to accomplish this goal. I first started by claiming a small spot on the WWW as my own - a place where I could "park my stuff! So here I am - ready to soar but fearing a major crash - wipe out supreme! I look forward to hearing from you! Ask, seek, and knock! Links to this post. Speckled Spots of Selfish Chicken Pox. Mimomma's Backyard: Reflecting the Inner child in Me
http://makinglemonadelessons.blogspot.com/2007/05/reflecting-inner-child-in-me.html
Lessons, Bible, activities, school, homeschool, bublic, private, fun. Tuesday, May 1, 2007. Reflecting the Inner child in Me. Picture this: Jesus surrounded by children of all shapes and sizes: Big kids, little kids, "Angel-kissed nosed" kids, sad and happy children, kids with black hair or brown hair or red hair, Children from towns nearby and far away! Jesus wanted the little children to come near so that HE could teach adults what Christians were supposed to be like. Let the Little Ones COME TO ME!
Mimomma's Backyard: Jesus the Mathematician
http://makinglemonadelessons.blogspot.com/2007/05/jesus-mathematician.html
Lessons, Bible, activities, school, homeschool, bublic, private, fun. Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Have you ever been so sick that no one really wanted to be near you? Others thought they might 'catch' what made you sick and, in turn, they would get sick, too. They cried out, "Jesus, master, have mercy on us! And Jesus heard their cries. The other men, however, hurried on their way, never stopping to thank the great healer. And Jesus said to the disciples, "Were there not ten lepers who were made well?
Mimomma's Backyard: Twirly Skirts revamped
http://makinglemonadelessons.blogspot.com/2007/06/twirly-skirts-revamped.html
Lessons, Bible, activities, school, homeschool, bublic, private, fun. Saturday, June 2, 2007. After visiting a recommended website for instructions, Madison and I picked from my 'sewing closet' a fabric to make her 'twirly skirt.' I tweaked the pattern a little bit as I didn't want her skirt to look like a 'pillowcase dress gone south'. I gave the pattern a bit more contour by putting more fabric into the bottom and cutting less around the waist. Here's the result! View my complete profile.

Bloom Where You Are Planted: Does "LIFE" really have a Silver Lining?
http://educ8edmom.blogspot.com/2007/08/does-life-really-have-silver-lining.html
Thursday, August 23. Does "LIFE" really have a Silver Lining? My granddaughter Ansley was diagnosed on Monday with pneumonia. That was after paramedics, ambulance workers, and hospital ER personnel poked and prodded for the better part of the day on her little 15 month old body and emotionally. On her 25 year old pregnant Mommy. I didn't think we could have a worse day - until I experienced first hand the run-around with Ansley and Mommy today. Mommy called early to ask about sending Ansley to MDO. Twitc...

Bloom Where You Are Planted: September 2006
http://educ8edmom.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 11. This weekend I attended a very special commemoration! Nine couples from our church family celebrated by renewing their wedding vows - each with MORE THAN 50 YEARS of marriage to the same person! That sadly has become the exception instead of the norm for our generation and times. I hope that my husband (of 32 years) and I will be able to physically make the 50 year milestone. These couples offered words of wisdom for continuing marriage in spite of the odds. C A and Delores. Lorem i...

Wednesday, August 23. HE removed their candlestick from among those who 'were on/off the verge' communing with them no more! My Momma used to put it another way - said I was 'riding the fence' when I didn't commit and actively pursue a notion or thought to fruition. I always thought that I had a 50-50 percent chance of making the WRONG choice! Posted by Marsha @ 8/23/2006 10:35:00 PM. Tuesday, August 22. Taking Advantage of the Moment -. Making Lemonade in Second Grade
Wednesday, April 13, 2016. I was first introduced to the idea of creating Animal Dioramas when my son (who was a first grader at the time), brought home a shoebox and a basic instruction sheet from his teacher to create a diorama of any animal and its natural habitat. Being a mom, I was so excited about the opportunity to help my son create something he was so excited about! Being a teacher, I knew that I had to do a project like this with my own students, but I had no idea where to start. We spent time ...

Making Lemonade out of Lemons
Making Lemonade out of Lemons. Sunday, April 3, 2011. She then told us that we had to go by Krispy Kreme and get her some donuts for being mean. All in all the night was fun, except for me having to push my car and all of the people at Pizza Inn staring at us laughing. My friend Nicole's older sister finally had her baby last Thursday. She named the little girl Harlee Grace and she was eight pounds seven ounces and was 22 inches long. It seemed like we were waiting on her to have her baby forever!
