Really?: Valentine's Day 2013
http://really-tidwells.blogspot.com/2013/05/valentines-day-2013.html
A Glimpse Into the Life of a Busy Mom of 4. Saturday, May 18, 2013. Below are the kids in their "festive" clothes-a tradition I created when the girls started pre-K and I realized that every mom in their class bought their child a valentine shirt and I did not- big mom fail:(. We ended the day with homemade heart pizzas that each child made themselves. They were really good and so easy that I think this might become a new tradition! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). candidlyellow: The Three Amigos
http://candidlyellow.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-three-amigos.html
As a side note and a beginning thought, I’d like to draw special attention to the last couple of photos I’ve posted. Did you know my family does things like a herd of ants? When one of my sisters started a new hobby in photography she bought a really nice camera. In my last post I told you about a 13-year-old-boy. I’m going to tell you about a thirteen year old boy again-but a different one. Where have they felt absent? Enough to hold all of his anger. I hope too, to be a part of him for longer. 2 whatev...

A Glimpse Into the Life of a Busy Mom of 4. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. I started reflecting on all the times where my life has changed paths, where it started to look different than what I thought. They all came to me like a sequence out of a movie when someone is having a flashback. It goes like this:. Welcome home, Joe", "I am deploying again", "We are moving home, mom", "I'm pregnant, Joe", "It's a boy! He has pancreatic cancer, Sharon","I'm pregnant Joe and I don't know how! Commas and Question Marks: November 2008

Commas and Question Marks. Pausing to satisfy your curiosity. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Thought of the Day. Written by Martin Luther, this hymn reminds me that if we belong to Christ, this is not our home and that we have a King that will never fail us! In the context of election day, no matter who wins I know that God wins in the end and that "His kingdom is forever.". Take comfort in these words and let's live it! A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;. On earth is not his equal. Place...

Darcie over coffee: a kind of mothering
http://darcieovercoffee.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-kind-of-mothering.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. A kind of mothering. A sweet woman from my church community slipped me a dozen home grown eggs on Mother's Day. All week John has been eating eggs- and I have been savoring a look. . . tiny, extra large, blue, brown,. Five years ago John and I visited Abigail and Nathaniel in London and there we celebrated Mothering Sunday. Bunches of spring daffodils awaited all the women that day. I love the term Mothering Sunday. Sometimes life's rolling waves crash in on one's soul- the roar ...
