The students have just finished second semester and fees we have paid out for the 29 students was Kwacha 852,200 at a cost of US $1893. This funds 4 students at boarding school, undertaking pre medicine, journalism, law and carpentry. The remainder are day scholars.

Default and ominous signs the government coffers are empty. Their PM has bailed out of talks with the EU and IMF and called for a July 5. Malawi Sweat Equity Trip. Saturday, October 30, 2010. Here are some before and after pictures of the work we have done and a good demonstration of why we needed 3 weeks to complete the task. Andrew was the only person brave enough to go on the roof to repair and seal up the leaks in the houses. These are the brand new classrooms which is where the majority our time and money was spent. With a growing school, more classrooms were necessary and will hopefully encourage more teachers to work at Misangu.
