Almost immediately it reminded me of Dollywood in Tennessee with plenty of trees and lots of theming such as this water powered clock. If the similarity is strong its because the same people own both parks. Checker games in abundance, a nice touch, I just wonder how many pieces they lose each day. Saturday, 28 June 2008. Perinorte Mall and La Feria de Chapultapec. Our last day in Mexico City and we had 2 parks and some more sightseeing to take in. We started the day with a drive to the Perinorte Mall, a 40 minute taxi drive north out of the city. The mall houses a small indoor park called Perimagico. Saturday, 28 June 2008. Seaworld and Six Flags Over Texas. Today we'd be visiting two different parks starting the day with Seaworld before a lengthy drive up to Arlington for Six Flags Over Texas. The first park was a short drive from the hotel and it looked like it was celebrating a birthday. In amusement park terms though 20 years is still quite young. And the ride was really good. Saturday, 28 June 2008. Not much to report today as it was all spent traveling. This is not a theme park, just a tiny wheel to attract drivers as they travel to the airport. I'm not sure which route our taxi driver was taking, here's us going past Windsor Castle. It was also at Guadalajara airport where I got stopped for taking sun cream in my hand luggage even though it had been fine for every flight prior. Oops. Actually it became quite a news story with over 1,000 people in 30 states reporting symptoms.
