Mama Cannon aka Laura. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. A symbol of my youth has died. Mary Trevors, of the 1960's singing group "Peter, Paul, and Mary", died last Wednesday, Sept. 16, of leukemia - age 72. This morning we received 2.2 inches of rain! It fell nice and slow, over about 3 hours time, and as of noon the sun had not shone on it yet, so maybe it won't just bake right back out. Thank God. Thursday, June 11, 2009. A trip to the eye doctor! We had eye appointments yesterday! Needless to say, it was quite an adventure. While waiting, we could not help but try on glasses. In the end, both boys got some super cool paper sunglasses. Hope everyone is having a great summer! That is absolutely hilarious! Love the pics and they look so silly. Tuesday, November 3, 2009. I have stopped nursing Josey during the day. She now only nurses at night and first thing in the morning. This has been hard for us both. She is mad about not getting to nurse during the day anymore. I, of course, feel horrible for making her be upset. Being a mom is certainly not easy. November 10, 2009 at 1:44 PM. I started working with Josey on her potty training on Sunday. She is doing so well so far and I am so proud of her! My little baby is growing up so fast. She says lots and lots of words now. She says Mama, Wachel (Racheal, our baby sitter), cow, gog (for dog), uh-oh, NO! Josey is quite the little climber. She climbs on everything! Love the bandana pants.

I wanted to pop in and share this cute in-the-hoop Elsa crown I made this week on my embroidery machine. The design is from Luna Stitches. She also has a matching mask I may break down and buy as well. The crown was really easy and fun to do. I made it along with another Elsa applique.
