Thursday, December 22, 2011. Ok, so here's the skinny on what we've been up to, and what's happening in the near future. I finished up my long-term subbing job on December 16th. It was bittersweet. I will miss those kids, and the staff that I worked with. A small part of me will miss the routine of going to work, and feeling satisfied in earning a substantial income. Friday, September 7, 2012. At dinner on the eve of Levi's 2nd birthday, Jeff, Daniel and I interviewed him. In typical two-year-old fashion he was easily distracted and his answers were easily swayed by whatever Daniel was talking about at the moment. Levi is a pretty good talker, and one of his funny habits is to say the word "know", meaning "I don't know" before giving an answer to almost any question. What is your favorite color? Friday, October 28, 2011. An afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch. We were very excited to go to our new, local pumkin patch this year. We have always gone to the Sauvie Island pumpkin patch, but it is just too far away. So last Sunday after church we decided to check out the new pumpkin patch here in Tillamook. Saturday, August 11, 2012. A Glimpse of Summer - June. This has been one busy summer and my mind is reeling at the fact that it is quickly coming to a close. My last post was about our trip to Seattle over Memorial Day weekend, which was kind of our "kickoff" to summer. Now I will attempt to fill in the highlights of the month of June. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Here we go again! And we can talk about it more. I am still staying at home with my kids and doing childcare for 2-3 others throughout the week. Again, it is a joy and challenge. Here is a glimpse into some of our daily activities. Some general information, for those of you who don't see us daily or weekly:. We are still living at the camp. Levi is 2 and half. He is adorable. He is often a little stinker. We still love our church and bible study. My house is always a mess.

Saturday, October 25, 2008. The leaves are certainly changing. Unfortunately, it has been a little too long since we last posted. Since the last post, we or some variation of "we" have been to Oregon, Tuscany and Bulgaria, and we also enjoyed some pre-halloween fun in Germany. Here are some of the pics from those adventures. Here is our little tree frog examining seasonal gourds. An ornamental gourd is all about color and shape (so she says). Have you seen a more adorable tree-frog? When in Rome, right?

Thursday, July 12, 2012. Over Memorial Day weekend we trekked up to Seattle with our dear friends the Troyers to go see a Mariners game and spend some time with grandparents. We left late in the evening on Friday, not arriving at grandma and grandpa Sargent's house until after 10:00 PM. The kids all crashed pretty quickly and the adults followed soon after. The Sargents with the Mariner Moose. And we even found some quiet tables in a pavillion to eat our Piroshki's (sp? On Monday we visited our dear frie...
