You are here: Home. Welcome to my website. I am a multimedia storyteller who most recently spent a year volunteering. In Mamelodi, South Africa. Before that I worked at a local TV station’s website, WRAL.com. In Raleigh, N.C., for two years as the multimedia producer where I was fortunate to win two Emmy awards. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. I took this photo yesterday while tagging along to help another shooter light a portrait at Knott Street Boxing Club in NE Portland. I like it. I like this kid. Monday, August 18, 2008. The summer of cake. Last Friday was my final day as a News and Observer intern. Every time someone leaves, they (not sure who) get a cake to say goodbye and everyone collects around it in the newsroom. This time, we were surrounded by the images and smirks about John Edwards' affair and possible "love child" while consuming way too much sugar and being encouraged by seasoned staffers to keep our heads up in nosediving industry.
