Wednesday, March 18, 2015. There's a new Brandi Carlile. B, Julie and I are all huge Brandi fans (randomly, we discovered her when her songs were featured in Grey's Anatomy back in its heyday) and The Firewatcher's Daughter is the usual wonderful folksy-rock that Brandi and her crew serve up. Yay! And Brandi will be at Ravinia this summer! I finally convinced B to leave the house and go to work when I was off this week! Both were a bit cool, but we had a blast! Lots of snuggles (breastfeeding for the win!

Tuesday, March 10, 2015. I'm (obviously) a feminist. So is my awesome husband. So is my baby (I know because she is happy spending the whole day with her dad while her mom works. And she's happy spending the whole day with her mom while her dad works.). International Women's Day was just a few day ago. And it's Women's History Month. And, it's any day of any month of any year when women, men, moms, dads, anyone needs to be treated like they matter just as much as the next person. Mandasaurus is a nurse!

Sunday, May 17, 2015. Life is nuts. It's wonderful and magical and over-scheduled and strange and absolutely, positively the very best. I swear I posted more posts than my blog currently tells me, but no matter. I will figure it out (how? So, there's a house. It's been inspected and we love it. I LOVE it. We're still dealing with the details. D is walking. Yup. She's almost-officially a non-baby. She eats almost everything! She speaks her mind (well. she says a few words). She's awesome.
