Is there pie in the morning? Monday, April 12, 2010. It was fun while it lasted, and maybe one day we'll be back. For now though, we're busy livin'. L-I-V-I-N. Labels: this is the end. Ive been ignoring this post in my google reader for a while now, but i feel that i should finally come to grips with this as being true. Though its sad to see you go, i feel its actually bittersweet- weve all come a long way since, gasp, 2004! Enjoyed the blog immensely. and enjoyed finding fellow geologists!

At least, until a round of allergies/cold/random virus came around and mama was not feeling like cooking grand new dishes. We tried carrots with shallots, sage, and thyme. Creamed spinach and parsnips. Brown sugar baked sweet potatoes and acorn squash. And pear cranberry cake. Sorry you were sick dude! Are you feeling better now? Did you get Tamiflu or did you just have to ride it out? Death cab for cutie.

We always deep fry our turkey for Thanksgiving but I have made aturkey the last couple of years for Christmas and Martha Stewart has the BEST sage Turkey recipe:) YOu put sage leaves under the skin.sooooo good! Monday, August 4, 2014. We have FINALLY started summer break! Crazy, I know but we made it to August and the break started on July 31. So what do you do in the summer time when all the world is warm? According to our littlest man, stand around holding squishy wet things and look confused and enjoy every minute of it at the same time! Weird I know but true. The others figured it out pretty quickly. :). I think every one enjoyed the fun since they haven't stopped begging to do it again since! My boy is 7!
