I had no idea how much time and attention a baby requires, but even in my spare time I find myself watching her every move. Saturday, April 13, 2013. Madi got her first cold this week. It is our doctor's policy to see any babies with colds who are under 3 months so we took her in. She got over the cold a few days later, but we were able to have her weighed and measured which normally wouldn't have been done until her 4 month appointment. Madi now weighs 15 lbs 2 oz and is 23.25 inches tall. It was fun to see Cami crawling around and starting to stand up on her own. Cami even inspired Madi to roll over 3 times! We were able to...

Sunday, December 15, 2013. Madi continues to become more and more mobile. She now walks along the couch and uses the walls to support herself as she walks from room to room. She is opening cupboards, sticking her hands into the toilet and pulling the toilet paper off the roll and out into the hall (my back was only turned for a minute! Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Are you ready for picture overload? My side of the family had a reunion in Seaside, OR at the beginning of August. We spent a week at the coast and loved every moment of it. Our first day at the coast was a little chilly, but it warmed up as the week went on. Madi couldn't get enough of the water! The Cherio book grandpa brought Madi. Eggs for breakfast- one of Madi's favorites. Only the best cheese and ice cream. Perfect kite flying weather. View from the top.

One of Brent's mission buddies visited Baton Rouge last week because he had a scheduled interview with OLOL College for one of their graduate programs. It was nice to meet Nathan and have him stay in our home for a night. He and Brent were able to spend a little time together that night checking out the city. Monday, August 10, 2015. The week was really good. We had the zone conference on Tuesday, which was really enlightening. We focused on winning more references from the members and on the Atonement. That is a topic I am really starting to focus on in my personal studies. On Friday we had exchanges with the Zone Leaders, I was with Elder Campello from Brazil. We found 7 new investigators in one day! 2 separate families, without knocking any doors! The whole thing really is "Another Testament of Jesus Christ.
