Friday, July 29, 2005. You know any shred of cool you once had is completely obliterated by parenthood when you get a local list of arts and entertainment coming to your town and the only show that you actually consider is Sesame Street Live: Elmo's Coloring Book. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. . . . Posted by Dogwood Girl @ 9:34 AM. Links to this post. Tuesday, July 26, 2005. I began to think, what books did my mom and I ever share? Dogwood Girl: January 2005
http://dogwoodgirl.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 28, 2005. So, I went to my midwife's apptmt. She is awesome, and agreed totally that i needed to go back on glucophage for the PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and wrote me a script for that and the provera to jumpstart AF. Then, she had me do a blood test, just to rule out pg. She said to hold off on taking the provera till they called with the results this morning. So, i called back and she was on the phone with another patient. Posted by Dogwood Girl @ 8:36 PM. Links to this post.

You Seem So Happy on Facebook. August 2, 2015. Bull; 18 Comments. This post has been bubbling up for a while, and it’s not anything that hasn’t been said before. This is a post about perception and image. It’s about the face we put on for the world, and about the assumptions we make about others’ lives based on the face they choose to put on every day. Tears I’m working on it. I am a work in progress. You seem so happy on Facebook. How many times have you heard someone say that? 8220;Wow, look how happy ...

The Most Important Lesson. April 9, 2016. Bull; 2 Comments. The wife of an old friend posted this today on Facebook. I told her “thank you,” because sometimes a parent needs the reminder that they’ve done some really good things as parents. Parenthood is often thankless; Parenting is fucking hard. Teaching my children to read is the most important thing I’ve ever done in my life. Later, I was walking… Read more →. Hope Springs Eternal: A Prayer. March 13, 2016. Bull; 1 Comment. Dogwood Girl: November 2005
http://dogwoodgirl.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I wanted to see Walk the Line. But it was too late for this early riser. I made it just in time to see the previews, which I like almost more than the movie itself. I hate to miss the previews. Since it was Harry, most of the trailers were for similarly-rated movies: Narnia. Can not freakin' wait to see that one! A Cheaper By the Dozen. Sequel (did people really watch the first one? Posted by Dogwood Girl @ 8:44 AM. Links to this post. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Wedding ban...
