Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Feast of St. Lucia, the MOSE, the Port, and Paolo. Oh, I almost forgot to add that there was actually snow in the air yesterday! Yesterday morning, as we were waiting for our boat for the tour to pick us up, it was flurrying just a little bit. Apparently snow in Venice is a really rare thing, so I was excited that we got to see it. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. First of all, thank you everyone for my card! I finally got it yesterday and it completely made my day, it was awesome!

Sunday, November 29, 2009. Outside of the little church, but still within the larger church, was also a small shrine dedicated to St. Francis because it is supposedly where he died. We met back up and went into St. Clare’s church. It was pretty, but many of the frescoes had disappeared from the walls because they don’t hold up well to moisture.
