The video I took is not all that great - I borrowed my friend Patty's camera, and didn't turn it off after the performance. There is a good 30 seconds of black. Also, I would get so entranced watching my daughter perform, that the camera would drift. So, the video quality is poor. As Sawyer told me, my camera work was a great big FAIL. It is, enjoy!

Diary of a Preschool Teacher. Friday, July 17, 2009. Real Life Pretend Play. Ok, couldn't think of a good title for this blog. So, our summer program has been progressing wonderfully this year. The kids and grown-ups have all been having a great time. Because it was a pretend grocery store, of course we had to have a pretend check out area as well, complete with cash register, a scanner and pretend money. Diary of a Preschool Teacher. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. And So It Begins Again. The school year is about to start again, and I am. ambivalent. Or so I thought. The school year, for me, is like a race that starts in August and ends, with me breathless, in May. I feel like I am running no holds barred for 10 months straight. Just managing my own childrens. What was I thinking? Do they even know that school is starting? I found that I couldn't wait to get to know them, and fall in love with them.

My 3 ring circus! Tuesday, August 18, 2009. When you start thinking back to school, it in my mind elicits thoughts of FALL. In Arizona it is w whole other story! I know national chains all that but it would be like selling swim suits in Alaska in January! It just doesn't make much sense to me at all. I love Fall the idea of it at least the leaves changing a crisp to the air.that is pretty much winter here! So here is wishing everyone a cool start to school and dreams of cooler weather!
