Friday, March 30, 2012. Two Playdates in One Day. Yesterday, Marcus and I had TWO playdates! We had a brief lunch before Marcus went straight to bed. He napped for two and a half hours before I woke him up for his 2nd playdate of the day. This was an unintentional scheduling on my part, but I figured, "what could it hurt? Playing on the porch. Wearing his rain boots - even though it was a sunny day. Sweet baby Dagen and her precious leg warmers. The bubbles were a big hit. Holden, Dagen, and Marcus.

Saturday, April 28, 2012. Yes, 104. The highest it reached, even while taking medicine was 103 yesterday, but since then we've been between 100 and 101. Even when puny and pitiful, our little man has still been sweet and smiley. Today, he's been DADDY'S BOY. He woke up saying, "Dada? Like, where is Daddy? I said, "he's asleep," and Marcus responded with, "I go see him." (yes, this child is talking in sentences! When I told him he couldn't, you should've seen the tears and heard the wailing. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Last Tourists Game of the Season (for us). Last night, a friend offered us free tickets to the Asheville Tourists baseball game. Who can pass up FREE BASEBALL tickets, right? So after we served supper at Kids Kitchen at our church, the three of us headed to McCormick Field for their game against the Savannah Sandgnats (interesting name, right? Oh yes, it could. We got free drinks when we signed up to be part of the Designated Driver program AND Mark caught a t-shirt, too!
