We though, enough wet weather! Let’s just jump on a plane and find somewhere hot! And so we did. Just four hours from Seattle, at the tip of Baja California are Los Cabos. We opted for a charming ’70s resort called La Posada Real. Checking out the beach from a lifeguard tower. I can do cheese! Prancing at the Paramount.

The next morning, we drove over to Roslyn – where ‘Alaskan’ ‘comedy’ show Northern Exposure was shot in the 80s and 90s. A lovely spot for rummage sales, seeing V8 chainsaws and acquiring some snazzy $1 trucker hats. And the dubiously minty goodness of the gum wall at Pike Place…. Thursday, 19 June 2008. 18th June - Man Flu. Yes, typical man - am currently on my death bed, unable to climb. Have a dreaded case of a cold. or man flu as us gents prefer to call it. Unable to get out of bed, my nose is sore, you know the drill. Women have no sympathy for us in cases like these, the usual "we just get on with thing when we have a cold". No more climbing for Mark at the moment, am hoping the cold will break and I can get some bouldering done on Saturday. Castle Wall - Vs4c - Morlais.
