Mark Mowbray Photography: May 2011

http://markmowbrayphotography.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, 22 May 2011. 22nd May 2011 - Spoonbills, Warblers, Grey wagtail, Wind and Rain. I decided to have a drive to Druridge to see if the 4 Spoonbills were still about as I've never managed to hook up with any Spoonbills before. When I arrived at the Budge screen nothing was to be seen on the water apart from a couple of ducks and a heron so I headed on towards the other two hides. In the hide which over looks the wetlands I found Rick Thornton watching 4 Spoonbills! All in all I had a really enjoyable...

Sunday, 5 August 2012. We recently visited Puerto de la Cruz, Northern Tenerife and visited Loro Parque a couple of times due to its close location to our hotel, 4 euros away in a taxi. I managed plenty of images and would like to share a few with you all. Some are from Loro Parque, some from our hotel gardens and others just from all over Puerto de la Cruz. The Northern Tenerife Lizard was everywhere, quite amazing just how common these stunning lizards are. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I woke on Day 6 t...

Sunday, March 21, 2010. Today i had another near death experience. luckily once again im unscathed. Was at work carrying something and there was a redback (black widow type spider) never the less it didnt actually make an attempt to bite me. I think it knew who would have come off second best. I really dont have that much to talk about, work wasnt that exciting, I did however manage to catch the wrong bus after work and ended up having to navigate through Sydneys suburbia.
