Wednesday, April 30, 2014. This month has been a busy one for sure! Aside from three road trips, general conference, and easter, this is what we have been up to:. Playing outside (sometimes with friends). Doing art independently (not for school lol). Okay so this was for school). This is part of a music video they are making and want to post on youtube lol). This is a puzzle. not really art, but done independently! I LOVE this face. he is trying to tape the guys to the pencils lol). I LOVE this face lol.

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Beddian birthday for two. Did you know that when your age is the same as the year you were born it is called your "beddian birthday"? I didn't until this year. both my dad and my daughter are on their beddian birthday! My dad was born in 1957 and is now 57, and natalie was born in 2007 and is now 7 years old. after my dad told us about the age and year thing, natalie is the one who caught that it was her year too =o] she was so proud! Saturday, September 27, 2014. Thankfully, this month started with the temple. i love the House of the Lord! I have this page a day calendar by my sink and i loved this quote so much i took a picture. isn't it so true! One of those that i am working on right now is giving hugs to my family. well, and also just physical contact like a pat on the back, a high five, and kisses too! Well it has. i also read several studies about the huge benefits of children receiving hugs or the like 8-12 times a day....

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Raycelan's Bridal Shower/Derek's Bachelor Party:. The kids couldn't have been more excited for these events! They love being involved with anything already, but to host? Derek and Raycelan love red velvet cake, so we made my friend's family recipe, but tried it as cupcakes. It did the trick! Jenna snagged the edge of this one. Saturday, June 6, 2015. The Month of May. That Friday Kent and I got to go out on a fun date using up gift cards I had been hoarding. The sweet babysitter we found is a definite keeper! I got to sleep in and then peacefully read my scriptures and write in my journal while Kent and the kids made a delicious breakfast. He did most of the work getting ready for church so I could call/text/message all the important women in my life to thank them and wish them a happy day. ANYWAY, I am so grateful to be a mom!

The longer I put off making this post, the more I realized it was because it just wouldn't look the way I wanted to preserve my memories of this AWESOME adventure we had together, and also because when I printed it next year the formatting would get completely messed up anyway! Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Our Camping Trip to the Grand Teton Nation Park). I think camping at a National Park for every Happy MacKay Day should be the tradition from now on! Sunday, November 2, 2014. October (another one bites the dust). And another one gone! And another one gone! Another one bites the dust. Anyone else feel like this as the months blur past? Like seriously. HOW? Kent and i had a sweet experience in the temple doing sealings for some family names my mom had given us at the reunion. it was overwhelming to feel the gratitude of our ancestors as we did the work! I'm so grateful we can go and do that! We love disneyland in the fall! We played outside a lot!

Friday, June 27, 2014. Trip to Madera and Father's Day. We got to go to madera the first weekend of the summer holidays. it was great to see everyone!
