The Happy Wagon: October 2014
http://melissamichiale.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. My great-grandmother Louise Cobb died this summer, and the whole point of our family gathering in St. George was to attend a celebration of her life on Saturday afternoon. We called her grammy. And i was very fortunate to grow up knowing her. She supported us and loved us in her own special ways. She cared for us and sincerely tried her best to be a part of our lives. She taught us and shared sage wisdom. And i'm going to keep on being my best me so that we can get there.

Thursday, February 26, 2015. The Adventures of Annie and Cude. I envy their ability to think so grandiosely at the drop of a hat. To me, it is magic. Hearing them contribute to the story, seeing their eyes light up when i weave their suggestions into the plot, their tiny gasps and concerned faces when Annie's in a sticky spot, that all, is magical. Today, Annie and Cude wanted to get to the moon! A Boy suggested that they "Jump really high on the trampoline! I'm excited to continue the story tomorrow.

There is a mulberry tree at our little Madera house, and of late it has become quite the attraction at Grammy and grandpa Jamie's house. Derek had a lot to do with that. If it weren't for Derek, i don't know where i'd be. I love those two. In a second i saw every ni...
