Wesley's First Day of Preschool! It's so hard to believe that this day has come - Wesley's first day of preschool! I have thought about this day for years. literally! We submitted Wesley's application to St. Pat's when he was just 3 months old. At the time it seemed ridiculous - walking into a private elementary school carrying an infant and signing him up for preschool. Thankfully he was accepted, and it seems like I merely blinked and TODAY is the day! Once we got into the school, he was in awe of the ...

First camping trip of the year. We took a long weekend camping trip this past weekend to the Williams River and had a great time! Poor Wesley came home with several bumps and scrapes - including a "big boo-boo" (as he calls it) from his first "major" accident. He fell in the camper and cut his top lip clear through. Thankfully it has already started to heal really well - and we're hoping it doesn't leave much of a scar. To Canada and back. Crossing the border at the Peace Bridge! Paula at the Falls!

Palmer Family Blog: Happy Anniversary!
http://palmerfamily.blogspot.com/2010/10/happy-anniversary.html
Happy Anniversary to my husband of 4 years! Our first date was more than 9 years ago and we were engaged 5 years ago - how time flies! It's hard to believe that our perfect wedding day was four years ago. it seems like yesterday that I tightly held on to Dad's arm while we walked down the long staircase into the view of our family and friends below. And I will never forget the look on Steve's face as I walked up the aisle. Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple, and as a family.

Anyone care to guess? I have kept track of every pack of diapers that we've used since Wesley was born. I got an exact count when he was 4 months old, but haven't done the math since then. Soooo, anyone care to guess how many diapers Wesley will have used from birth to his 2nd birthday? The only diapers NOT included in the count are the ones used while in the hospital at his birth. A ride in Pap's "big truck"! Wesley got his first ride in Pap's "big truck" today - and he LOVED it! Fun in the Sun. Wesley ...

Labor Day Weekend fun. I started out the holiday weekend by helping out with my first St. Pat's fundraiser - working at the Rotary Booth at the Jubliee. After my shift was over, Steve and Wesley met me and we went to the Jubilee for the first time in three years. The last Jubliee that we attended was when Wes was 3 months old - how time flies! Some very neat photo mats/frames. I hope to share some photos of our find very soon. Yesterday we took a day trip to Blackwater Falls. The weather was aboslute...

Mommy, I'll pay". Tonight Wes and I stopped at T&L Hotdog to get hotdogs for dinner. While we were waiting for our dinner, Wesley walked up and pulled a penny from his pocket and said "Mommy, I'll pay. here ya go" and handed me the penny. Then he looked down, pulled his pocket outward and said "no more moneys. no more moneys.". On a side note, this morning Wesley sneezed a couple of times and then declared "Mommy, I'm sick! Being 2 is hard. Wesley has gotten so many bumps and scrapes lately that it isn't...

Even though our Snowshoe weekend was cut short, we had a great time and can't wait to go back. We went out for a late dinner when we arrived on the Mountain Friday night. It was obvious that we weren't used to conditions that cold when we walked about 5-7 minutes from our room to a restaurant with only one layer of clothes on. BRRR. We didn't make that mistake again. View out one of the windows where we were staying. Niki - the professional snowboarder. ;). Baby, it's cold outside! The four of us. Althou...
