Last Monday I attended a breastfeeding class at LDS Hospital in hopes of learning techniques to ensure that my child will be well-fed and happy. Those of you who don’t have children and probably don’t have siblings with children are saying, “Weird/Eww/Gross, they teach breastfeeding classes? The risk; it doesn’t eliminate it completely.” Score for the mammary teacher! Doors that open out. Extra décor matching the restaurant style.

I don't know these guys but my Google search for "frolf" returned this photo, further validating my white trash/frolf theory. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Hoots the Commuter Owl. One of my favorite Sesame Street characters was "Hoots", the raggedy beatnik owl that lived in the alley and tinkered around on his saxophone. He had that slightly raspy voice and went from glazed over looks to wide eyed outbursts at the drop of a hat. In later years I liked to think Hoots puffed on the reefer as much as his saxophone.
