Stefania Pasquali: dicembre 2007
http://stefaniapasquali.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Domenica 9 dicembre 2007. First of all I have to say that I really like the word “environment” because it perfectly gives the idea of the context in which we learn a language. As Sarah wrote, the learning process doesn’t stop when our formal learning is over: learning a language is more than attending a course! That’s why the PLE is very important: it helps people to become aware of what they do to improve their skills, of which tools they use and of the whole environment in which they learn.

Stefania Pasquali: maggio 2008
http://stefaniapasquali.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Mercoledì 14 maggio 2008. Some reflections about the course. 8230;Final post…. As I wrote in the wiki, I wasn’t so enthusiastic to start again in February. I had some problems with my timetable so I considered the exchange ‘another thing’ I had to do. Then, once I started the skype sessions, I started to enjoy the experience. Skype gave us the opportunity to have real-time conversations with native speakers and that was great! I really enjoyed attending your course; hope to see you soon. Siamo Stefania e...

Roby' s blog: Politics dot-coms
http://roby-robysblog.blogspot.com/2008/03/politics-dot-coms-reading-on-line.html
Lunedì 17 marzo 2008. Reading on-line articles I notices that when newspapers have to deal with their nation’s domestic politics, news are updated more than once per day, detailed and a little repetitive. In any case, there are some basic elements I think are common in journalism in general and some elements which characterized only on-line journalism. Some of them are:. Most times there is also a subtitle which sums up in few words the content of the article;. Hyperlinks and clickable words. As a charis...

Martedì 13 maggio 2008. ASSESSMENT OF INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE. To be intercultural competent in not a child’s play. And I think that a person cannot become intercultural competent communicating via Skype, filling and reading questionnaires…: these experiences can only be seen as a starting point of a long and challenging process which makes you consider others’ cultures as important and “worthy” as yours. I think it is one of the most difficult thing in the world! When you study, new notions make you re...

Roby' s blog: POLITICAL MARKETING
http://roby-robysblog.blogspot.com/2008/03/political-marketing.html
Domenica 30 marzo 2008. A NEW KIND OF MARKETING. 8221; to all intents and purposes! In this last week there wasn’t big or interesting news…at this stage of campaign, everything has already been said and now candidates start to attack, overtly or covertly, the opposition. So, you read lines and lines of nothing…. I think that both in American and Italian campaigns, candidates endeavor to persuade those part of undecided voters who can really determine the winner. Holders of accounts in Liechtenstein banks.

http://roby-robysblog.blogspot.com/2008/03/ple.html
Domenica 2 marzo 2008. Better later than never! I must admit I have left aside my blog for a good deal of time…but now I want to put right! I say sorry to you, group H, for my terrible delay…You are always on time with your work while I have been a bad girl! Also I agree with Caterina when she wrote that learning a language is a difficult and long process in which experiences such as travels, Erasmus, tandem-learning…play a great role. Summer's blog!: OUR FINAL PROJECT
http://aleonardi.blogspot.com/2008/04/our-final-project.html
Your heart is free. Have the courage to follow it" Malcolm Wallace - from Braveheart. Domenica 6 aprile 2008. Dear group 2,. Next week we should start thinking about our final project. As you know, it should cover a particular aspect of the two cultures, so it should be a sort of comparison. I was thinking that maybe we should focus on immigration. Is a really hard goal…maybe this could be a misconception based on our own ideas so we could explore the topic more in depth. This is just my proposal! It wil...

Your heart is free. Have the courage to follow it" Malcolm Wallace - from Braveheart. Domenica 30 marzo 2008. Photo taken from flickr. Domenica, marzo 30, 2008. Lunedì 24 marzo 2008. I’ve just taken the Yoga questionnaire. And I have to say I’d never had the chance to test my intercultural competence. Before. I think this concept is quite blurred. During the triennio and that was all about trying to gain a certain amount of competence as far as foreign languages and cultures are concerned. Than you alrea...

Your heart is free. Have the courage to follow it" Malcolm Wallace - from Braveheart. Mercoledì 26 dicembre 2007. My PLE (E-tivity 9). Dear Group K,. First of all I would like to apologize for the late but, as you could see from my previous post, I’ve been pretty busy in the past two weeks! Anyway, here am I with my PLE! In order to create a somehow coherent mindmap, I decided to divide all the elements and inputs into two main levels: REAL WORDS and VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS. It’s surprising to see...I will ...
