Mostly library - the essential kit. 08 July 2015 @ 04:31 pm. The spotty child is on the road to recovery. There weren’t any new spots yesterday, just old ones increasing in awfulness, and today they are slightly fewer in number. Last night he was smoothing his hair down, and I said, “Stop rubbing.”. He, greatly offended, said, “I’m NOT rubbing! I’m trying to look cooler! So the girls will notice when they walk by! 8230;that might come pretty close to doing the trick. It is certainly the bare minimum ...

Internet hiatus post - the essential kit. 18 July 2015 @ 01:40 pm. I wrote this on like …Monday. Or Tuesday. It’s Saturday now. I don’t have time to do a secondary update right now, so this’ll do. We’re on an Unintended Internet Hiatus, as our broadband stopped working for some reason that no doubt has to do with moving and not having been able to get it sorted out because of things beyond our control. I had, as best I could tell, been pretty much housebound from the 1st of July through the 10th, excepti...

This is vaguely weird - More Words, Deeper Hole
http://james-nicoll.livejournal.com/1004941.html
More Words, Deeper Hole. This is vaguely weird. October 1st, 2007. Turned up on a entry that I made back in July. I don't recognize the name, so I look at the account and it leads me to a blog that to date only talks about alleged attempts to censor Gor. I go check out the link to a similarly old entry on Tamora Pierce's LJ. And I see new comments there as well from the following people:. Cheryl mazana, who is also a recent addition (Late September) to LJ and who has two public posts, one about Gor.

Sleep cycles - Bunsen

Sleep cycles - Bunsen. 25 March 2015 @ 12:25 pm. Ive heard that when people are put in an environment thats completely devoid of day/night cues, they tend to adopt a wake/sleep cycle of about 26 hours. (On average; theres considerable individual variation, as with any human characteristic.) So what happens if people are put in an evironment that matches their wake/sleep period? Do they tend to be better-rested and able to accomplish more than otherwise? 6 comments Leave a comment. Barrayar, perhaps. ...

Just to post - Its Like This. 27 January 2015 @ 10:51 pm. David says I should post. as is often true, David is right. Hiya But what should I say? I'm kind of drifting this month- two months I guess. I'm reading about a book a day. That does pall a bit. I get out with David to a play or a movie sometimes: after all, doesn't take much walking! Not going to Potlatch. Too much history of con crud there. 17 comments Leave a comment. On January 28th, 2015 07:42 am (UTC). So good to see you in these electrons.

The boss said I should change the sign- so I did - Its Like This. 13 May 2015 @ 09:17 pm. The boss said I should change the sign- so I did. David says I should be writing blogs- even though it's hard. I should be writing email, calling, texting. He says I'm awake enough now to know. I'm stupid. Well. Not his words, mine. But I guess he's got a point. I'm up against my limits, and it just makes me weepy. I did not go to the store that day. 18 comments Leave a comment. On May 14th, 2015 04:30 am (UTC).

Home - Bride of Rain Dogs
http://stillsostrange.livejournal.com/902138.html
Bride of Rain Dogs. The gravitational pull of delirium. Apr 3rd, 2015 at 10:31 PM. Tonight is our first night in the new house. Being as we were on the third floor, we hired movers. The movers were scheduled for this afternoon, sometime after 11:00. We planned to get up, have breakfast, tidy a few last minute things and dust everything to be moved. Leisurely. My phone woke me at 8:00. It was the movers. Their morning job had rescheduled, and could they come early? Steve Roach - Bloodmoon Rising. Apr 7th,...

I'm still alive. I'm battling bad situations and worse depression, - glitter and growling. December 10th, 2013. I'm battling bad situations and worse depression, and have become more or less convinced that everyone has forgotten/gotten sick of/started hating me. It doesn't make (much) sense, but mental illness does that. I've pretty much taken everything that makes up Grace and burned it to the ground. Now I'm just waiting to see what grows back.
