Thursday, August 21, 2014. A few years ago, God began to stir our hearts and turned our eyes to the orphan crisis in the world. We knew God was leading us down a different path than we had planned for ourselves. After several months of praying for God's direction and pouring over the Scriptures, we felt God was calling us to overseas missions. And now, after a lot of prayer and planning, Casey and I are excited to share that we're moving to Malawi, Africa to serve as missionaries! Stay tuned for updates!

Wednesday, February 11, 2015. After weeks of packing and many late nights at the warehouse, we were finally able to send off the container on Sunday. What a relief! All of our belongings were shipped along with the Fern's. After leaving Springdale on Sunday, the container traveled by truck to Memphis, then by train to New Orleans before being placed (today! On a cargo ship headed to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. From the port in Tanzania it will travel again by truck to Ntcheu, Malawi. Please pray with us tha...

When God Says Go. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Day 1= Shaving cream fun. We started by reading books about snow and then the kids were able to play with "snow" even in Africa ( shaving cream). They had a blast! Not quite sure about the shaving cream, yet. ;). The girls and boys touching shaving cream for the first time. Their faces are priceless! Lots of giggles and excitement! When God Says Go. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Flood Relief Part 2. Thanks for returning to our blog and reading about day 2 of our flood relief trip to Chisawa. The majority of the day was spent making cement and laying brick for the church. We also went into the village to pray, build relationships, and share about Jesus. Thank you for you prayers! We were able to talk to several families about Jesus. They listened intently and where very curious. We enjoyed meeting all the kids! He did a wonderful job!
